Operations Specialist
Zainab is the Operations Specialist for iMMAP Inc., and is currently based in Nigeria. She provides support to both iMMAP global operations and business development. She helps in ensuring that programs deliveries are on track, through timely HQ support to the field teams and support the global business development team in its strategy through involvement in identifying and developing opportunities and reviewing existing partnerships.
Zainab has over six years of working experience in the humanitarian sector. She worked as Head of Operations for iMMAP Inc. Nigeria and and as Program Officer for the Nigeria INGO Forum (NIF) under the Norwegian Refugee Council, Mercy Corps, and Oxfam. She also interned with the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution in New York.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Law and Diplomacy from Babcock University, Ogun State, Nigeria, and a Master’s Degree in International Law and Settlement of Disputes from Universidad Para la Paz, Costa Rica. Zainab is fluent in Ogoni and English, and has basic knowledge of Spanish.
