Head of Operations
Zainab is the head of operations for iMMAP Nigeria. She ensures all projects comply with iMMAP´s processes and high-quality standards. Zainab further coordinates the daily operations in close cooperation with the country representative, manages local contracts with vendors, partners, and other stakeholders, oversees expenses and budgeting, and reports on operational performances and suggests improvements.
Before joining iMMAP, she was a program officer with Nigeria INGO Forum (NIF) for three years under the Norwegian Refugee Council, Mercy Corps, and Oxfam. She also worked as an intern with the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution in New York.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Law and Diplomacy from Babcock University, Ogun State, Nigeria, and a Master’s Degree in International Law and Settlement of Disputes from Universidad Para la Paz, Costa Rica. Zainab is fluent in Ogoni and English, while she has basic knowledge of Spanish.
