Alex is the senior information manager and analyst project lead for the COVID-19 Situation Analysis project, based in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. In his role, Alex is responsible for information management of the COVID-19 related updates of the projects while coordinating with the project leads in other countries and project stakeholders.

Prior to his current position, he worked with iMMAP from 2017 to 2019 supporting the Agriculture Cluster in Ethiopia, and providing information management support to the Shelter/NFI Sector, CCCM Sector, and Food Security Sector in Nigeria.

Alex has worked with iMMAP in Ethiopia where he supported the Agriculture Cluster in 2020. He also worked with iMMAP from April 2017 -until February 2019 providing information management support in Shelter/NFI Cluster, CCCM Cluster, and Food Security Cluster in Nigeria.

His past work experience includes Information Management & Cash-Based Interventions Officer for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Bangladesh, GIS Technical Consultant for Abia Geographic Information System (ABIAGIS), Spatial Layers Limited, GIS Analyst/Team Lead for Abia Geographic Information System (ABIAGIS), and GIS Site Assistant (Intern) for Abia Geographic Information System (ABIAGIS) in Nigeria.

Alex holds a Master of Science in Risk and Environmental Hazards (Merit Award) from Durham University, United Kingdom, and a BSc. Geography and Planning (Second Class, Upper Division) from Abia State University, Nigeria.
