Omar Gonzalez is iMMAP Inc.’s country representative in Colombia. He is responsible for defining a vision, strategy and plan for the implementation of iMMAP Inc. in Colombia. He oversees the programmatic, financial and human resource divisions of the Colombia mission.
Omar’s career spans over two decades. Prior to his current role in iMMAP Inc, Omar served as a Senior NEXUS & IM advisor for the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office in Colombia, where he advised on humanitarian, development, and peace nexus approaches, and played a crucial role in liaising with heads of UN agencies to foster collaborative efforts.
He holds a Master’s degree in international relations and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering. He is fluent in Spanish and English and has intermediate proficiency in French.
