Our services

Take a look inside

We offer our partners the full spectrum of information, knowledge, and change management skills and services.
Our expertise is linked with thematic knowledge in humanitarian aid assistance and emergency response (e.g. food security, health, coordination, development, disaster risk reduction, humanitarian mine action, security, climate change, agriculture, and much more),
allowing us to support humanitarian actors to solve operational and strategic challenges. We are experts in working in high-risk environments as a result of political instability, economic crisis, security threats, and natural disasters.
We partner with organizations to provide more effective services based on informed decision-making, which ultimately leads to improved outcomes for vulnerable communities.
This cost-saving approach enables humanitarian aid and development organizations to provide high-quality assistance that impacts the wider population.

Utilizing the iMMAP Data Cube, iMMAP’s Geoinformatics Unit conducted a supplemental analysis to highlight the month-to-month changes in crop activity within areas of interest in northeast Syria between the 2019 and 2020 winter crop seasons.

The analysis proved a belated planting of winter crops at the beginning of 2020 with significant crop growth detected around April suggesting above-average expected yields.

Attacks on health facilities and workers breach International Humanitarian Law and add further risks to people who need health care. An estimated 6.6 million people in Afghanistan have had access to health services reduced because of these incidents.

A recent resumption of attacks on health care in combination with the ongoing movement restrictions to control the spread of COVID-19 will further increase the proportion of the population denied access to health care services.

iMMAP’s Information Management Officer seconded to the Health Cluster in Afghanistan is actively providing support by helping to track incidents using WHO’s Surveillance System for Attacks on Healthcare and producing monthly dashboards on attacks on healthcare.
